SANTALBA triunfa en International Wine Cellar

La última cata de International Wine Cellar, dirigida y valorada por Stephen Tanzer, ha resultado un éxito para Bodegas Santalba, donde varios de nuestros vinos han conseguido más de 90 puntos Tanzer. Un vino con 90 puntos Tanzer o más es considerado un vino excelente y para nosotros, es importante pues reconoce el esfuerzo diario de todos nuestros Trabajadores, Colaboradores y Clientes. NABOT SINGLE VINEYARD   ( 92 Points )

Deep violet color. 
An exotically perfumed bouquet evokes blackcurrant, cherry compote, vanilla,
pipe tobacco and dark chocolate.  Broad but focused dark fruit and candied
floral flavors are sharpened by zesty acidity and pick up exotic notes of
chewing tobacco and violet pastille with air.  Dusty tannins build with
air, adding grip to the long smoke- and spice-accented finish.

IREP RESERVA   ( 90 Points )

Bright ruby.  Sexy
aromas of candied red fruits, incense and licorice, with slow-mounting
spiciness.  Juicy and appealingly sweet, offering raspberry and cherry
preserve flavors and a touch of bitter chocolate.  Vanilla and allspice
notes linger on the long, sappy, gently tannic finish.  This showy wine
drinks nicely now, with some air.

Dark ruby. A highly fragant, pungent bouquet displays cherry and darka berries, licorice and mocha. Dense and chewy, offering bitter cherry spicecake flavors and a hint of star anise. Lively and focused on the finish, which strongly echoes the cherry note. The massive bottle that this wine comes in beliesits actual elegance; you´d be forgiven for supposing that it contained an oak – or ooze- monster.
